LOAD RESTRICTIONS IN THE LAKES SERVICE AREA 24 (2025 #6)
Pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Act the following load restrictions will be imposed, on the following Provincial Highways and Roads in the Lakes area until further notice:

The following Provincial Numbered Routes are – UNRESTRICTED -Highway 16 -Highway 35 -Highway 118
The following Side Roads are 100% Legal Axle Loading 24 hrs/day: All Side Roads not mentioned below
The following Side Roads are at 70% Legal Axle Loading 24 hrs/day -Babine Lk Rd #200 from Burns Lk Transfer Station to Pendleton Bay -Bald Hill Road -Colleymount Road -Goodwin Road -Tchesinkut Lake East Rd -Cheslatta Road -Ootsa Lake East Road -Tatalrose Road
The following Side Roads are 50% legal axle loading 24 hrs/day: -Walcott Rd -Palling East Rd -Palling West Rd

All overload permits on restricted routes are invalid for the duration of these restrictions. The applicable tolerances provided under 7.26 of the regulations pursuant to the Commercial Transport Act shall apply. Violators of the regulations and restrictions will be prosecuted. The public, and trucking and transportation companies should govern themselves accordingly.
